Sand wash

Sand Wash is a surface dye, similar to indigo, which loses its initial hardness thanks to proper sand-washing, leaving softly nuanced and slightly aged colours. Once this effect is achieved, the colour is set to stabilise it so it does not keep ageing, the way indigo would.
